Review on 🚘 SILVEL 6-inch Dual Action Buffer: Ultimate Car Detailing Tool for Waxing, Buffing, and Polishing by Roshan Schram

I was impressed when it first arrived! It looks and feels sturdy, has its own carrying case, comes with two different sized wheels (5" and 6") and a wide range of polishing, buffing and application pads. And I found the quality of the seals VERY GOOD! The instruction manual was pretty lame. No information on the purpose of different pads, how to change wheels etc. It's literally four pages of 4" x 4" text. Well I started using it to polish my car and everything went fine. I liked the controls with handles, variable speeds, etc. But after only 30 minutes of use, the device just stopped working. It literally just stopped working. I have no idea what happened. At first I thought maybe it has an internal overheat fuse or something, but even after waiting two hours it's still dead. I've messaged Silwell via Revain and will see what their customer service team has to offer. The user manual says that if the user likes their product, please leave a positive review, and if the user has any problems, contact Silvel. Unfortunately, there is absolutely NO CONTACT INFORMATION in the user manual. No address, no toll free number, NOTHING! There is no other way to contact Silvel than through Revane. I'll wait and see how long it takes to hear from Silvel CS and what they suggest, and will update this review later. My contact with Silvel was solely through the Revain app as they are not based in North America and CS responded within 24 hours. After I provided a few photos of the buffer/polisher, Silvel agreed to provide/send me a new buffer/polisher free of charge and I don't have to return the defective block. I still don't understand why my original unit failed and I hope the replacement will last.
