I live in Florida and we've had a terrible two day winter, yes it's 80's again today (10 Jan 2014) but it's still falling into 60's at night. These pants are enough to keep you warm, but breathable enough to wear when it's "hot" outside - I'm wearing a pair as I write this review. I ended up buying 3 pieces together. That way I have a clean pair to sleep in every night before it's time to do the laundry again. And for a single man, I have to say that just lying in it is very comfortable. I love these pants. Highly recommended. I ordered LARGE and am 5'11, 190 and usually wear a 34 waist. So if you wear a 34-36 waist go large, usually get a pair of pajama bottoms one size up - they shrink a bit after washing , so I grew up. So if you're one of those guys like me that fits a 34 or 36, get the big ones, I'm afraid the medium ones will be too tight.
