I bought these socks for my 8 year old son to play baseball and they initially fit great. He's small for his age and they came down to his knees. The reason I'm giving this four stars is because they shrunk a bit after the first time in the dryer. :( We had to stretch them a bit to get them back in place. They managed to make it through the season but after that I always hung them out to dry. The price was great so I can't be too sure complain.
