We make a lot of royal icing and when it's all dry it's a real problem getting the stainless steel bowl out. My wife wanted something the kids could "forget about" and still be easy to clean. I've noticed my dentist uses silicone bowls to mix his sticky stuff and when I saw them on sale they looked like a great solution - and they are.. PROS: - Even the worst solids come off right away off these bowls - Good range of sizes - No rattling when dropped on the floor by an 11 year old - Doesn't break anything when literally thrown down the sink Cons: - A little flexible - No built in spout - Just red with which I would buy another set Enjoy!
