Review on Stylish and Compact: Pistil Women's Hands Off Mini-Crossbody a Must-Have Accessory! by Lisa Kattestad

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very well finished, one or two more pockets can be used

In general, this is a very good wallet. I'll go straight to the pros and cons: Pros: * This bag is very durable and well built! It's not leather, but that doesn't bother me. I honestly don't know what the material is, but it's thick and very durable. The zippers are made of durable metal, just like jeans. They were a bit stiff at first, but they're definitely getting better every time I use them. I have no issues with roughness on my arms or zippers as others have mentioned. It's exactly what you would expect from a solid metal zipper. * The bag is a good size, not huge, not tiny. As you can see from my photos, my 7 inch Kindle fits PERFECTLY in one of the main zippered compartments. Any 7-7 1/2 inch tablet will do. The other zippered compartment has two pull out pockets and fits in my flip. Phone (yes, I know clamshells are lame) and another slide-out pocket that fits in my metal RFID wallet. This is both a plus and a minus. This is a plus because it is beautiful and long. Especially for a big girl like me. But honestly the setting configuration could be better (see cons).* The distance between the zippered compartments is a closed area. Not protected at all, but good for items that won't kill you if lost. Cons: * As you can see from my photos, the strap is a buckle adjustment. I put it on the very first hole to make it as short as possible and the strap is still long enough (I'm quite tall at 5ft 7in). The problem is that a loop is left for the flexible part of the strap. The loop is large and loose. I have to double the end of the strap when putting it through the loop and it comes off anyway. I'll try this length for a while and when I think it works all the time I'll cut off the strap and sew on a shortened end to finish it off. or two. I like to keep things separate and organized in my purse. If there was an outside pocket for small items like receipts that would be great. Or if the open pocket between the two main zipped sections had a button or something to make it a little more secure that would be great too. (The photo with my hand is the open pocket I'm talking about here). Bottom line I think this is a well made bag that has pretty much everything I need. If there were 1 or 2 extra pockets, this would probably be my everyday handbag.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old
