Pros and Cons Pros: It works as intended. The phone stays in place and charges. The opening and closing mechanism is smooth and the front and top sensors respond quickly and efficiently. Cons: The phone gets very hot. This is not a stand to use if you need to use GPS or anything like that. Even with fast charger disabled and such, my phone (Samsung Galaxy S20+) will still overheat and disable wireless charging while it cools down. To be honest this part is habitable. The biggest downside to this thing is that it accidentally pops open while driving. For example, let's say you only drive down the highway when you travel, sometimes this thing just pops up and your phone will most likely fly in your face or fall on the console which will likely break. I'm guessing some kind of defective sensor. Will I buy another charger of this type? Yes, perhaps. Would I buy this particular model? no The thing is, it would be great if it didn't open randomly, but it does open and that makes it useless. The only option you have is to put your phone in and then turn it off completely so it doesn't open until you want it to. and that makes it useless.
