I used another dog clipper brand for the last couple years until I recently had to look for a replacement. These have been the smoothest cutting clippers I have used- with about the same noise and heating during use.Our Shichon is prone to matting on her stomach and feet during fall/spring rain and winter snow cover. She generally does great for haircuts but is more impatient when mats are involved- for the first time, she was just as good when matted as for a typical no mat hair cut. Smooth glide through her entire coat! She let me do her entire cut in one sitting (typically takes 2-3 when she has matting).I have not yet used the paw trimmer but on looks and weight, seems like the same high quality as the primary clippers just with a more convenient blade width for smaller areas.Pros:- extra smooth cut (even when mats are present)- battery indicator display to see exact power remaining while in use- removable blade for easy cleanup- wide range of blade guard sizes included that connect securely to the head (no wobble)- blade heat doesn't rise to a concerning level- comfortable grip and feel even doing a long cut (I have used others that leave my hand feeling tingly/sore after longer lengths of use- this one didn't)Cons:- noise was extremely quiet to start however after about 45 minutes to an hour of use it increased substantially (my dog seemed unbothered by the shift but it was not a subtle difference to me)- no blade guards for the paw trimmerFor me, this was a pleasant upgrade when I just needed a replacement for our clippers that died. I will be purchasing a second main clipper from oneisell as we like having a couple on hand (3 dog household).
