My daughter got her ears pierced 6 months before buying these headphones and I figured they wouldn't irritate her ears as they are hypoallergenic etc. Well I was wrong. She's got a terrible ear infection from those earrings. After trying to clean her ears 3 times a day and replacing the earrings with 14k gold ones, she had had enough and the infection wouldn't go away, so we took them off and the earrings were done for now. Please do not purchase these if you are even a little concerned about allergies or your child's reaction to what they are made of. My child will need to have his ears pierced again after the infection has cleared.
