I was initially very pleased with the purchase of this product as it was one of the few mouthguards that came with a case and back then hygiene was very important and he was very handsome and well built. I bought my first one and after about 2-2 1/2 weeks the pads on my teeth had almost completely ripped off to the point where my teeth made contact when I bit down. Although there are tears, breathability was excellent. I figured I just chew it too often so I bought another one. I bought a second one and tried to chew it up as conservatively as possible and only wear it when needed. I was able to last about a week from the second, but he was still tearing the pads of his teeth. Now I have to buy a THIRD mouthguard and it was only my second game of the season. I will not buy a third of these. I need something I only have to buy once.
