Review on πŸŽ… Bucilla 86648 Jolly Saint Nick Stocking Felt Applique Kit - 18" Long - Festive Christmas Craft by Hannah Curi

It takes more than one beading needle, poor quality sequins and you need to buy cotton wool.

Good set, easy to make. You just need patience and take your time (I'm a very experienced embroiderer by the way). However, there are a few things the seller needs to fix: Most of the sequins are poor quality, poorly cut, rough edges, just very poor quality overall. The needles are also of terrible quality. Creepy. And they only give you a beading needle. It is small, the head was deformed, and, as is so often the case with beadwork, the needle flew off the thread and disappeared. I tried to restore it, but it's so small I can't even find it with my hands, which is painful to find lol. These needles can't even cost Bucislla half a penny, so why not include 2-3 in the kit? Also, the cotton required is minimal, add $1-2 to the price and include a batting blade with the kit. No roll, just one sheet, that's more than enough and saves you from buying cotton.

Pros
  • Design: Jolly Saint Nick
Cons
  • High price
