Full disclosure, I haven't used this on the phone yet but it seems pretty good when you play with it at first. There are 3 light color options (White/Medium/Yellow) and each has 10 additional brightness levels. You can see the increase and decrease in brightness in the video and different colors (most noticeable in low light for video). The brightness control panel is located in the middle of the cable. So far the only issues I see are 1) the cable is quite long adding some clutter to my (already crowded) workspace and 2) the USB cable and my computer require USB-C so it has a slot in my adapter occupied. Both seem rather trivial and the price was definitely right.
