Update: I started making tea as the holes in the basket were thin enough and the glass mug cracked this morning when I poured hot water. I hand wash it and have never dropped it - it just couldn't take the heat of 1 month of tea brews. :(************* I liked the grinder idea because I rarely get whole beans. But the grinder is awkward to use and the handle fell off before I could digest my first pound of coffee beans had Sturdy mesh basket but the holes are a little big for the coffee when ground with a grinder so transferred to another cold brew kit with a thinner mesh basket Had instructions for brewing time and amount of coffee which was helpful .Save yourself the headache and buy a coffee grinder when you need one and a cold drink with a thinner strainer basket.
