I gave it one star in my initial review because both pumps stopped working properly after just a week. For a while they blew strongly, and then they worked very weakly, with almost no current. Unfortunately I left one in my dojo aquarium. I have 3 dojos ranging in length from 10 to 12 inches. They love to play with the electricity (when it's running). Sometimes they jump out of the water. Yesterday I heard a crazy splash and when I checked all 3 dojo loaches went crazy and jumped out of the tank. I caught one jumping completely out of the tank. When I put it back in the water I was shocked! I quickly unplugged WaveMakers, they were fine right away. Luckily they are still alive. I read that someone has the same problem. I have a Hygger double pump, everything is fine. YOUR WATER PUMP WILL NOT GET CHEAPER! And this product is cheap and dangerous!
