I bought them to shape small snacks and snacks like fat bombs. They worked great the first time I used them. Silicone is very soft and flexible. To fill them you need to place them on a tray or other hard surface (depending on the needs of your project). Thanks to their flexibility, it is so easy to extract the finished product. After cooling and hardening, all small snacks can be easily shaped with the touch of a finger. Chocolate bombs came out with a nice glossy finish. The cheese bombs weren't that smooth, but I didn't press the mixture into the molds particularly hard. They measure from 1.5" to 1.75" from edge to edge of the mold, depending on the design. Didn't measure the depth. The average volume is 1 tablespoon (3 teaspoons); Some of the deeper rounds hold 4 teaspoons, and the smallest, the star, holds just under 1 tablespoon. When they arrived the silicone had some smell. As recommended by the manufacturer, I washed them in hot soapy water and let them air dry overnight. In the morning the smell was gone. I keep them in the ziplock bag they came in and they still smell great. The chocolate left an odor for a while after demolding, but I don't expect it to last long. Great product and I expect a lot of use from it.
