I have a notoriously unruly beard, especially along the sideburns where the coarse hairs get out of place all the time. I've tried smoothing it out with a good quality wax that I use on my head but to no avail. The process of applying beard oil just seems to bring out more hair. However, this is not the case with Viking Revolution! It helps the whiskers adjust to the contours of my jawline, plus a fantastic clary sage scent (clean but new, but not overpowering, and if your girlfriend gets anywhere near, she'll be delighted). I definitely see myself subscribing to this balm so it's always at hand. I would also recommend getting a Viking Revolution boar hair comb as it really helps tame the wild that is my face.
