In the last 25 years I have made over 30 pants. This pattern doesn't work. The interface on the front panel should not have a rubber band. The waist, although elastic waist is pulled up, cannot wrap around the hips unless it has a zipper (not part of the design). The length is too short even for small sizes. The legs are so baggy, baggy than the picture. It is suggested that the connection of the belt to the pants should be done with open ruffle edges where it is very easy to press the inside to sew later. Now that the first pair of pants is finished, I can rework the pattern. I'm going to add some sort of button closure at the top to open it up further as I pull my hips in. I will make my legs much slimmer. The front pockets are very pretty. I used viscose challis and if I made them again from this fabric I would use some kind of reinforcement on the outside.
