Review on Windows FWIN232 Fusion5 Storage Professional by Jim Ledbetter

Receive my tablet 4 days after ordering with all the New Year's rush! At first I just wanted a cheap tablet for watching movies on long flights, but after a few weeks of searching the internet I settled on this model because of its 8GB RAM and 128GB hard drive. I've been a Windows Surface Pro user for over 3 years, so having a Windows Pro tablet that can sync my Microsoft account across both devices is a huge plus. Initial setup was quick with all Windows updates required, you have to manually check for updates (3 times for me) as the tablet doesn't do this on startup. Two things bother me a bit (neither are a deal breaker): 1) I think they pre-taped a cheap screen protector as I can see two small bubbles and the corners aren't quite "flat". I think this protection affects the sensitivity of the touchscreen, just not as sensitive as my surface. I could not remove this protective film from the screen. 2) The 2 pin charging adapter is huge and heavy. They included an extra Type-C cable, but it didn't charge the tablet when I used a different adapter. Two "bonus" things: 1) The tablet has a regular USB connector which I can conveniently plug into my portable hard drive for extra storage or hours. Movies.2) The box comes with a Type-C to regular USB adapter that provides an additional USB port for using a wireless mouse. My Surface Pro 4 has issues with screen flickering so I can't watch movies on it for long, but I can't be prepared to spend huge amounts of money on another Pro Surface or go to the Surface. If you just want to watch movies and do a little surfing, this tablet is more than enough. I suspect I could potentially work with this tablet as well since it's as powerful as my Surface Pro, I just need to connect the tablet to an external display. I hope they refill their keyboard soon. Also, don't buy a Fintie case from Revain that says it fits the Fusion 5 Pro, it doesn't. I need a universal cover that leaves all sides open so I can charge or access ports.
