Bought this about a week ago and couldn't be happier. This works very well to control unwanted behavior. This collar has two distinctive features that may confuse some buyers. The instructions say it goes to sleep after 30 seconds to save battery, so you usually have to press it twice before a fix occurs. The first press simply wakes up the device. The second detail in the instructions is that the collar must be turned off when not in use (usually at night), otherwise the batteries will only last 10 days. This extends battery life. Since batteries (CR2032, not CR3032 as listed on the Petsafe website) are only about 50 cents each on Revain.com if you buy 10 or 20 at a time, the cost of replacement batteries isn't a factor.
