The speaker sounds amazing, like Atmos downfiring speakers.
I bought these speakers as true surround speakers, but they sounded so good as down-firing speakers for my max setup that I bought two more to expand my setup to complete. No need to buy more expensive ones (240?). The sound is perfect. Even my wife has commented on how cool the movie sounds and how it completely envelops us... And she usually doesn't care.
