There is absolutely nothing special about this sandpaper pad set, but it is incredibly well made. Sandpaper is also very good. I've been using the same piece for a month now and still don't need to change it. I use mine for sanding paintings, wood, ceramics, and art objects like crayons and hard pastels. The variety of beans they give you is great and you can absolutely find what you need in this set. The block fits my hand perfectly (I'm a woman) and reduces hand and arm strain. I don't feel like it slips out of my hands and I'm always in control. It also keeps the sandpaper securely on the surface of the sponge. I highly recommend this set and keep an extra set of sandpaper in your shopping cart for when you need it later on the road.
