I was really excited about this product as it appears to have been developed with some forward thinking. As a lifesaver, I really wanted a "foldable" block that I could use anytime. WRONG - lol. All parts are separate, in other words when you open the two halves of the shell the walls are half ribbed and are located between them; it must be collected. I also have good manual dexterity and it took me a long time to line up the zippers properly to close the unit. Worse, there's no way to "lock" the zippers once the unit is assembled. Long loops at the ends of each zipper make them easy to hook on and off. A small piece of Velcro that could be threaded through the zip loop could easily fix this. Worse, when I assembled one of the zippers, it "split" (opened) in the middle of the rail and would have given a stressed pet ample opportunity to get out. This immediately became impossible for me as I may need to pack an injured animal or transport a feral kitten that will quickly crawl out. The nightmare of a frightened pet running down the street and being killed does not bode well for me. Good idea in form and potential; extremely poor performance.
