Contains cane sugar!

Tastes better than other bone broth powders I've tried, but took a star off because it's sweetened with cane sugar. Stevia extract and monk fruit extract are also ingredients. Check the ingredient label! It contains 3.5g of carbs per serving compared to 1g found in other bone broth powders. I used it as part of the "bone broth diet" for several months before realizing it contained sugar. It's not a lot, but if you're on a diet that restricts cane sugar or other carbohydrates, consider an alternative. I like to add it to hot teas and smoothies. The taste is different than non-bone broth drinks, but still pleasant. I feel really full after drinking. When making hot tea, pour it into boiling water and stir. It forms lumps, but stir again and let stand for 1-2 minutes. Lumps dissolve 95% or more in hot water, leaving a small lump or two clinging to the top of a spoon or cup. Add stevia or monk fruit if desired, followed by tea bags. When blending a smoothie, mix all the other ingredients first. Then add the powder while the mixer is on as low as possible. If you put the powder in the blender at the same time as other ingredients, clumps will remain on the sides of the blender jar. I did not have any bowel issues/indigestion pains prior to using this product so I cannot comment on the product comparison on this.
