Great for beginners!
I bought this ink from a friend when I wanted to learn calligraphy. Having no experience with any ink other than this one, I can't say if it's better or worse than the other. I can only say that the mascara is great. I made a few mistakes, touched the ink without knowing it, and everything was black. Washable with soap and water! Easy cleaning. It leaves a great 3D feel on paper, and at 2 ounces it doesn't even look like I've dented it after many hours of use. I will continue to buy this ink as long as Revain offers it.
