Review on Chromalux Light Bulb Frosted 60W by Jennifer Jackson

Bought two lightbulbs to experiment with. I have a ceiling lamp with two screw bulbs. I replaced two fluorescent tubes with these two incandescent bulbs, which are advertised as closer to full spectrum. I received two bulbs in about two days and they worked great when screwed into the ceiling light. They are indeed quite hot, which can be a problem in some cases. I removed the glass cover to see if it would run cooler by removing the glass cover that hangs under the bulbs to allow more light to fall on me while I read. Two bulbs are enough for reading or other tasks. I plan to use these lights to see how I'm feeling and if there are any health effects by reducing excessive "blue light" at the lower end of the spectrum and a wider spectrum of light than most fluorescent and LED lights . I also bought glasses to filter out some of the excess "blue light" that emanates indoors from my computer's LCD and lights. Mainly from the blogs of Dr. From Jack Kruse and other sources, I have learned that artificial light: most fluorescent lights, LED and LCD lights and displays, LED TVs and computer displays, and smartphones - they all lack the 290-450 nm frequency in the light spectrum and no ultraviolet light in space plus excessive "blue" light which I think scientists call "blue" meaning about 450nm which leads to disease. I try to limit the effect of this artificial light on my eyes by wearing filter glasses to filter out the bright blue and also using those lamps that are closer to full spectrum. I am also awaiting delivery of computer screen protectors that will filter out the same excessive but invisible "blue" light. Only time will tell if reading under those lightbulbs will be easier. It's also possible that I don't feel much of a difference. The aim is to improve the health of many species.
