It's easy to build this backwards so I had to reinstall a few pieces but otherwise not overly complicated, took about an hour. Hardest thing was my cat wouldn't stop interrupting. I ended up taking the two top pillar pieces off after a week or so. They shake a little and it would scare my cat enough to keep him from going up there (he's about 8-9 lbs) and the shorter height worked with the window better. I put one of the top platforms on the upper house as a bed. I may try reinstalling them at some point or just keep them to replace the other scratchers as they get worn. Overall a great buy and my cat is satisfied.
