Review on BONECO W300 Humidifier Air Washer by Mike West

This is my first review of the device I received on 01/27/2020. I received and connected the device today. Let's just say I'm very skeptical of any type of device that requires replacement and cleaning of the filter media. I studied Industrial Engineering and Quality Control, so I am very critical of the products I buy and try to be as honest as possible when reviewing products, especially when a device has bad reviews and I am taking a risk with the purchase . I researched humidifiers for a few days before finally settling on this Boneco to try and meet our needs. I would have bought a Bluetooth model but couldn't find one for a reasonable price in the US. One of the biggest pluses of this review. for his first plugin is the noise level. My wife is very sensitive to certain types of noise. She can use the noise generator as long as the sound is steady and calm. After receiving the device, I filled it up and plugged it in to test. She wasn't in the room when I first turned it on and I actually thought it was too loud for her. I can sleep through it all so the noise was fine with me. Then I turned it down to low and knew she could handle that low noise. I took it to our room and held it up while fiddling with it. She walked in and said something like "Wow that sounds good" because it was just a nice fan noise, not an uncomfortable buzz or squeak or anything. If my wife can sleep at high altitude with this thing, it should be easy for light low altitude sleepers in terms of noise. She was also very happy with the aesthetics of the device, as was I. It has a very professional, sleek look that blends well with the space. Most humidifiers are pretty uncomfortable on the eyes, but this one looks gorgeous. The large detachable tank should prove very handy compared to the usual small humidifiers we've tried in the past. She needs one for her sinuses and I assumed whatever she always bought was fine. Until recently I had never read about humidifiers, now I really know all the types and sizes needed for specific room sizes. We live on three levels and humidity can vary greatly from one area to another. All of our bedrooms are upstairs and I hope this single unit keeps them all well humidified. I like the technology behind these humidifiers as they don't require constant replacement of vaporization pads like most on the market and am hoping to get more. Water versus disc air filters. The instructions show that cleaning is very easy and it looks simple. If this proves difficult I will update the review. Now I have it in my small room, just over 17 m², and it immediately started to increase the humidity from 35%. So far I'm happy with the device and I'm looking for good quality stuff. I will update the review if I think the quality isn't worth the money.
