. We bought it for our new Philips 32 inch HD LCD flat screen TV. and it's absolutely amazing. The arm is attached to the basement wall covered in 2 inch styrofoam over a cement block, with knotty pine on top. 2 inch wood planks are glued and nailed to the log wall. The screws provided do not go into the log wall, just through the knotty pine and then into the 2" rack. I suppose we could have bought longer screws but decided to take a chance as we have at least 2 .5" of wood. back to plan B. well a month or so has passed and this tv is pulled out, tilted, rotated in the opposite direction, and the brackets on the wall mount don't wobble, the hand is strong and strong, it works just great! Took about 1/2 hour to assemble the TV stand, plus drill holes for the bracket. Very easy and very well made is far from the center of the TV, so keep this in mind when installing.
