We use paper plates quite often (I know it's not socially acceptable) and we have some wicker plates under the plates to keep the paper plate stable. Now they're all falling apart, so I went with these plastic cymbal holders. We have used them several times and they serve their purpose. They support the paper plate, they should be easy to clean, and if we don't drop them, we step on them, etc. they should last quite a long time.
