Admittedly, my whole family uses paper towels more than they should. I love coming across things like this Swedish tea towel, which can be used in place of paper towels when we clean and dry things as you can use it over and over again - and it's actually thicker than a paper towel, so more durable. I got a lot of use from just one of them so I was really impressed. Over time, they begin to break down, but it takes many, many times to use and abuse them. They are very absorbent and durable and in my opinion much more practical to use. You get two thumbs up from this household!
