This product just looks like yellow vinyl and it may be, but it works great. It's not transparent, which might be an issue for some applications, but it doesn't matter for what I'm using it for. It weeds very easily, cuts well and sticks well. I used a brand new blade with a vinyl tip and here and there the surface of the wax paper is underneath (not entirely paper though) and the paper pulls a bit during separation but nothing lasted more than a few seconds. correct.
