EDIT2: sjstek sent me a new one that seems to work as expected! It's a lifesaver for the work I do, so I'm glad to know mine broke by accident. The new one works great. EDIT: The mouse is now lagging behind significantly on both PCs, it used to work just fine. Keystrokes are also delayed, causing command packets to be sent simultaneously and often misspelling words even though the word is spelled correctly. Original title: Hallelujah! It works out! First review: I've tested 4 different KVMs over the last month, all claiming to emulate USB devices. This is the ONLY remedy that actually works as advertised. Not only does USB emulation exist, it works very well. I easily switch between Wins7 and Wins10 machines with this KVM (emulation is key to working with Wins7). No input lag after switching via hotkey or physical switch. Being able to use a hotkey is great because I can hide it under my desk and still easily switch. It also works with my Hub 3.0, allowing me to split 2 inputs into more. I use it to toggle my wireless mouse, wireless mechanical keyboard, and the Razer Headset Hub.
