Colourlock sanding pad (good quality sanding pad)

I bought this quality sanding pad after watching a video on Matt Morman's YouTube channel (Obsessed Garage). He's using this trim on a Corvette he's selling and wanted to freshen up the Alcantara on the interior. I have a 370z with Alcantara seats and cloth next to the armrests on both doors. I'm really not a big fan of Alcantara but I've used the car a bit (very low mileage) but the Alcantara had a bit of a matte finish so I thought I'd give it a try as it should freshen up the original look. Alcantara fabrics and fluff fibers. Here it is important to clean the surface easily. EASY. If you start scratching with all your might, forget it, you will probably ruin your Alcantara. But if you use it as intended, they work fantastic. They really make the material look like new again. Combine this with a high quality Alcantara cleaning solution and a high quality microfiber and you have a winning combination. Matt recommends Swissvax Forte (although expensive), but there are other (cheaper) alternatives that work just as well. SONAX is one of them and about 1/3 cheaper. Try it. There are a few others too, including Colourlock's own Alcantara solutions.
