Alcantara Steering Wheel

I messed up the Alcantara steering wheel with a leather brush and cleaner. This product worked well for a "light" shave and to smooth out blemishes.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Update Available

Works but after reapplying the putty it took some effort.

I did not manage to smooth the leather filler from the same company. I ended up ripping out some of the putty and reapplying it and then smoothing it out again. It took more work, but it worked out in the end. This is something I wouldn't buy again due to the hassle of reapplying filler to smooth out the texture. I mean what is it supposed to do right? It is cheaper to use high-grain sandpaper.

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • Not bad

Colourlock sanding pad (good quality sanding pad)

I bought this quality sanding pad after watching a video on Matt Morman's YouTube channel (Obsessed Garage). He's using this trim on a Corvette he's selling and wanted to freshen up the Alcantara on the interior. I have a 370z with Alcantara seats and cloth next to the armrests on both doors. I'm really not a big fan of Alcantara but I've used the car a bit (very low mileage) but the Alcantara had a bit of a matte finish so I thought I'd give it a try as it should freshen up the original look…

Pros
  • So far happy
Cons
  • Modernity
