Worked well. Bright. However, the USB connector is cheap and breaks easily. It must be plugged in for it to work. (Outweighs the whole purpose of using the USB cable and connector.) 13 days after I bought this for my daughter, her cat threw it off her bedside table, which broke the internal USB connector (female part) in the base. The buyer should be aware that this is a factor in the purchase.
