I was looking for a reusable cable tie that would stay on the unwound cable. That way they're not lying around when you unwind the cord and they're there when you need them. Velcro sucks when you have carpet and hair and fibers build up on the Velcro over time. Magnets are not perfect as they can cause electromagnetic interference and signal loss. This cable tie is perfect. Durable, adjustable and won't get dirty after a few uses. My only complaint is that they are very expensive for only 6 pack and also that they come in two sizes instead of one. I ordered a kit hoping they would all fit my XLR cables but only fits XXL. The smaller size it came with is pretty much useless dead weight. So for me it cost me $13 for 3 ties. Unreal. However, this is the only cable tie on the market that fits all of my boxes.
