These rubber moccasins really save my life. Due to a disability, I cannot wear winter/rain boots. The boots slip easily over my custom boots and the tread protects city sidewalks in inclement weather. This style of boot is designed to fit snugly, but because Tingley shoe covers are thicker than other brands, it can be difficult to slip them on over your shoes. Bags can be easier to put on, but wear out quicker than Tingleys in my experience. I find that using a dry silicone lube spray on these shoes makes them flexible and easy to put on. This spray also gives the surface a new look. Once a year I spray them inside and out and then wipe them down lightly with a soft cloth. that keeps them in good shape. Dry silicone spray does not transfer to my leather shoes and is also useful around the house. Hope that helps!
