Bought a pair of reading lamps over the bed. There were no issues with the sticky adhesive pads, but one bulb didn't stay in place because the magnetic connection was defective, ie. slip. No matter how many times I tried, the light just swept across the chrome ball until it shone onto the wall. It's hard to read a book with your nose against the wall. I returned the defective unit and was very impressed with the speed of the customer service who promptly replaced it. However, the replacement suffered the same fate, just not enough magnetic force to hold this cute little light in place. I'd happily order another one if I knew the company does quality control, but that just doesn't apply to my orders.
