Good quality, easy installation.

We ordered 2 of these to use as reading lights in our RV bedroom. I really liked that the color and style matched our interior so well, as well as the functional presence of a "flashlight” if needed at night, very handy! Installation went great on the first, but on the second the base of the lantern didn't seem to have the magnetic force to hold it in any position so it just flopped and hung there. Revain quickly refunded the money and I ordered a second one which appears to be much stronger…

I've given up trying wall lights

Bought a pair of reading lamps over the bed. There were no issues with the sticky adhesive pads, but one bulb didn't stay in place because the magnetic connection was defective, ie. slip. No matter how many times I tried, the light just swept across the chrome ball until it shone onto the wall. It's hard to read a book with your nose against the wall. I returned the defective unit and was very impressed with the speed of the customer service who promptly replaced it. However, the replacement…

Beautiful compact lamp

I don't know why there are three levels of brightness. If you hold the switch, you can smoothly dim the lamp from full brightness to about 1/4 brightness. IMO, that's a great approach. "Bad” glue is actually a great glue product. This is a 3M VHB tape. Search the Web. I've used this glue before and it sticks strongly to a clean smooth surface.
