I have two senior kitties, and they’re water needs have changed. One had more issues at finding the water level in the bowl. The other only wanted water directly from the faucet. This took care of both their needs. The water surface remains constant and she’s not spilling water to find that surface anymore. As for my faucet drinker, the stream is distinct and I can adjust it. She just drinks from the top of that stream. She’s not trying to tilt her head to get to the water, and her whiskers aren’t getting in her way. They both are getting more water easily. Even with the generous reservoir, I will refill it daily for the freshest water, which cats prefer. The motor is silent. The only sound I hear is of the water motion, and that is only with the highest setting on the stream, and if I’m next to the fountain. This was a good purchase.
