The size, foam density and electrical interface make the Power Roller extremely easy to use but also very effective in relieving muscle tension and spasms. Most of the previous rollers I've used were either smooth or had fewer "ribs" like the Power Rollers. The Power Roller's ridges or contours made it easier to "hook" onto the tiger's tips or knots, and the vibration helped further relax the muscles. I found that I didn't have to work as hard on the rotation phase of the muscles when I added the vibration component.
