I have long wanted to replace the wood trim in my Lexus that was cracking and buckling, but I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a factory replacement. (which I still couldn't find in the right wood color). I thought this might work as a cheap alternative and being all vinyl it's easy to take it off if it clashes too much. And it might be small enough for what I needed. As expected, the color does not quite match the factory wood look and the surface is more matt than glossy. But I would say it's close enough that most people won't notice since the place I placed it is usually heavily shaded. It stuck to the skin easily with no bubbles, and I was able to cut it fairly well, so most people probably wouldn't realize it was vinyl only. And so far it hasn't risen at all, so I expect it to be pretty solid. Overall I think it's a good alternative to fixing wood stains in older luxury cars which may not be worth the cost. Factory parts (if any).
