Review on 💇 Wella Color Tango Hair Developer 6 Volume, 2oz: Enhance Your Hair Color with Professional Precision by Jenna Hicks

I used a hair color product to go with this developer when it first closed here in the US. and I couldn't go to a barber shop to get my regular 6R or 6RR (Redkin). I was nervous about using something I'd never used before, but I worked at a high-end salon in the Boston area that used Wella's professional line and was hoping it would be the same because I used it there for my own hair. Had not. It dried my hair so much I was very surprised at the difference! And it's a shame because the color was gorgeous! It dried my hair so much that when the salons finally opened I had to get a good trim and was advised to buy a bonding product to try and get my hair back to its normal, non-over-dried state. I have been going to the same stylists for over 20 years and she is also a good friend of mine. She hasn't seen my hair this dry in many years, probably since I dared to use Walmart Black Box Dye! So while I like their professional line and color I will not be using the Wella Color Charm. Or tango again. I had to use Olaplex three times (quite expensive even with a license to buy from a supplier) before my hair felt normal, and that was after a pretty good cut and second trim a month and a half later. I've never come across a product that dries my hair like this, but maybe that's because I'm used to the professional level. I don't know because I haven't used OTC hair dye in many years since I got my license. As much as I love the color, it just wasn't worth the damage it did to my hair and what it took to get my hair back to normal!
