Bird chewing off paint

I am very unhappy with this purchase. Most bird cages are powder coated if they are described as wrought iron. the coated paint is not supposed to be ab le to be chewed off from any bird you may cage. Birds will chew, obviously, but in the 25 years I have had my parrot, a small caique, he has never chewed the paint off of the bars like on this cage. Very unacceptable.
