Love it. Works perfectly. I used to have to put my phone on the speedometer and it would slide off as soon as I hit a bump, causing the app to randomly close/launch when I tried to catch it and put it back down. The device comes with 3 black steel plates that are self-adhesive. Each one is a different shape so I assume they will fit a variety of phone cases (they all work with my phone). If I need to change phones later, I can use one of the other plates. If you share a car, multiple drivers can use it. I attached one to the inside of the S8 case. It adds no bulk or tangible weight. It keeps the phone safe on bumpy roads. No problem connecting the device to the air vent of my Honda Fit. I can turn my phone any way I want. In my case the blockage of the vent air is minimal by installing it as close to the side of the vent as possible. It's easy enough to remove from the vent when you want to take it off. It comes in the manufacturer's original packaging and has the logo embossed on the magnetic flange, so the assessment that it is a fake is not correct.
