SOLVE my problem with HDCP2.2!

I have a new Samsung QN65Q8DTA TV and a Yamaha RX-A2030 9.1ch receiver that is several years old. So far, the receiver was connected to an old television with an HDMI extender via Cat6. When I upgraded to a 4K TV I had to upgrade to a 4K extender. I was trying to get 4K streaming to work on my TV using Revain Fire TV via HDMI receiver and extender. 1080P worked fine, but if the Fire TV wanted to stream 4K, HDCP 2.2 was required. No luck with the old receiver which was HDCP 1.4. I didn't want to spend another $2,000 just for HDCP 2.2. I tried solving my problem with a better extender that offered ARC and then streamed it through my TV with the audio coming back through my HDMI extender's ARC return. It will not work. It either didn't work at all or only had 2 channels. Such a pain! TROUBLESHOOTING HOURS. I figured there must be a way to remove HDCP 2.2. Well, it's not "legal" under the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act). So all of these devices are either on the black market, hard to find, or cannot advertise that they are HDCP free. So instead of buying and testing many of these, I found this! It doesn't bypass copy protection, it just lowers it! SO USEFUL! AND my problem solved. Apparently legal! Now I can use my Revain Fire TV 4K connected through this device, then to the receiver, HDMI extender and TV. While it works great. Attention: I first had white sparkles in the picture and then sound problems. It turned out that an HDMI cable wasn't good enough. The cable was advertised as 100% 4K and 18Gb/s compatible, but it is not. So if you're having trouble with this, try swapping out some HDMI cables. Also, try to connect things with as few components as possible, get them to work, and then try more components until the whole chain works. Consumer electronics suck. I mainly blame the content protection. HDMI is always a problem as there is no feedback on the problem but constant guessing and checking. However, this little box solves the problem for which it is described. +!
