This is a great vise for your garage or basement workbench. It's heavy enough to handle moderate jobs with confidence and has some useful features that make it versatile. The 360 Swivel is great and as other reviewers have said they now come with mounts on either side of the jaws to hold those too Pipes for cutting safely. When assembling, you must be at the very end of the table so that the fixed jaw extends beyond the edge of the table to allow clamped items to reach the floor. To confirm other viewers, a vise is sold by a Michigan company , but made and shipped from China. However, all materials are very strong and they don't feel cheap or fragile. I attached to the bench with 3/8" bolts with washer, lock washer and locknut under the bench. The holes match right in the 1/2" screw.
