I bought these to sew into baby clothes instead of zippers or buttons. I thought they would be a fun alternative but unfortunately they are not strong enough to hold two layers of fleece material together. I improvised and sewed them inside out on one side and left them open on the other side. So they're sticky, but they look pretty edgy and do-it-yourself. Which is ok because it's only for my baby and nephew anyway. Also, you really need to test each pair of magnets to make sure they actually attract each other. I sewed ten pieces into my project in one direction, but for some reason three of them had to face the opposite direction. Maybe I don't understand how magnets work. Anyway, they sewed on with no problem, but I'm disappointed that they weren't strong enough to work the way I wanted them to.
