I ordered this b/c the stylist advised me to buy a bigger barrel. I have thin, fine, straight hair. I got concerned when I read the instructions and realized that it seems to be for very thick curly hair that needs a lot of heat to straighten! But I was thrilled that I could rotate it 200 degrees and lock it that way (other irons can be accidentally flipped in your carry-on or rough). I use it to lift the roots, fluff up and smooth out the creases I have while I sleep. The ceramic shaft does not harm my brittle hair. Does the job great, has a nice long cord, great safety features and even has a heat guard so you don't have to wait before packing!
