Not only was this pump cheaper than the NAPA pump, it also came with a matching plug. The NAPA product required me to solder the connector. Both previous pumps failed in the same way. I installed this pump in a 1997 Subaru Outback. This was the second exchange, each lasting 10 years. Both the original Subaru and the NAPA pump failed because the end plate was attached to the underbody with cement, which was gradually destroyed by the methanol-based washer fluid. This pump doesn't appear to be built the same way, but time will tell.
