Impressive on Small Devices

Im impressed with this Ninja Ultimate system. I made salsa with it yesterday - the salsa came out perfectly even in texture - I was shocked at how good it looks. Everything I threw at this car turned out great. It grinds cheese and veggies great, makes really smooth smoothies, smooth frozen margaritas, and I've even used a bread blade to knead pizza dough - worked great. The motor is strong and there is a strong wind during operation - it was quite fun. Recipes flew around the kitchen in the wind. The motor has 4 suction cups that really attach it to the work surface as well as the kitchen cupboard/storage space. I put a paper towel underneath when storing so it doesn't stick to the shelf. The parts are well labeled and the instruction manual and recipe booklet are all well done. Take some time to go through them so you understand what each part does and how you control the motor. The motor can be pulsed or use built-in settings to do all the tasks. What I don't like about this machine: - Every part is dishwasher safe (love it!) BUT parts (2 main blender lids and large main blender jar, parts on smoothie cups) all keep water inside - Urinating with water horrible and I felt like I had to rinse everything out because the water from the dishwasher was left in it. And then it took quite a bit of shaking to get that water out. And it takes a long time to dry those innards. If you wash by hand, you have the same problem. My Cuisinart stand mixer handled this with good drainage (the old ones didn't drain well). - The feed chute for using rasp/slicing discs is too small. This works, but you have to cut the cheese/veggies into smaller pieces. I will continue to use my Cuisinart for this task unless I make a small batch. - The power cord is very short (about 34 inches from end to end). I love working on my big island and it takes longer than just using it on my back countertops.
